When you arrive on the boat our staff will give a brief 5 minute discussion before your session to go through the safety briefing. For your safety, there will be 2 trained safety staff on board at all times.

For children under 8 years old, we require an accompanying adult per five children. We encourage the accompanying adults to participate. We are also constrained by capacity limits and accordingly, accompanying adults will be counted as part of the total group.

 

This instructional video covers the crucial rules for safety and procedures while on the Monkey Float. It is an easy way to familiarize yourself with the boat. Because the safety of our guests is our number 1 concern, there will be lifejackets available for everyone on board if you wish to wear one. Life jackets are required for all children under the age of 13.

Our extensive safety training program enables our staff and to spot a problem before it happens. Because there is a lot of activity on the boat, our staff have been trained to be firm but friendly with rule enforcement and are well equipped to handle any number of situations.

 

Due to the high-risk nature of the boat, reckless behavior will not be tolerated. If anyone displays antisocial behavior while on board, they will be asked to refrain from such behavior and in some circumstances sent to shore. As long as everybody plays by the rules, you are safe with us!
